Dijon Chicken Strips Sauteed with Honey and Assorted Peppers

  • 1 lb (500 g) Ferme des Voltigeurs Dijon chicken strips
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL), divided butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) rice vinegar or white wine
  • 1 red pepper, trimmed
  • 1 yellow pepper, trimmed
  • 1 green pepper, trimmed
  • Heat the skillet over high heat. Add half of the butter. Add the chicken, garlic, soy sauce and honey. Stir-fry for 5 minutes. Add in the rice vinegar or white wine. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Add the rest of the butter in the pan,
  • Add the peppers and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  • Return the chicken and its accumulated juices to the pan.
  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Cook, stirring, for about 5 to 10 minutes over low heat, or until the sauce thickens
  • Serving: serve over thin pasta such as linguini.
